A healthy lifestyle lover follwing their heart and passion to be a fully certified & accredited B.Sc. Nutrition Expert (plus a few more degrees along the way).

Specialised in vegan nutrition - I´m inspiring, empowering and helping you and others to make healthier choices with tools to shift your mindset, easily integrate more plant-based foods into your diet & develop a super easy, clean, free spirited & healthy lifestyle. Growing your knowledge and looking at this lifestyle from a new and different angle - the easy way. To make your own nu healthy choices. And no - you totally don´t have to be vegan, turn vegan or have any interest in this lifestyle - a healthy mindset can be implemented for everyone. But I do recommend living a plant based lifestyle, because - why wouldn´t you?

So let me tell you a bit about myself. If you´ve made it this far, I´m sure you want to know who I am. At least, that´s what I do if I visit someone´s website. I wanna get a feel for their personality and story of life. I like the deep, deep sh*t. Oh, so do you? Nice - I think we are going to have a lot of fun together!
what i love & my roots
So, I´m originally from franconia in germany (beautiful place) and am currently living in Berlin. I love to travel, to eat the yummiest of food (oh - how I do love to eat), go on adventures and live my life full of exciting moments. I love to surf (or at least trying to), love cruising along the winding beach streets with my Longbboards, travel the world, try out all different kind of recipes and foods (as long as they are vegan) - let me tell you - the plant based variety and food creations are bigger than I have ever seen or known before in my entire life - and I love to talk about nutrition and inspire others to eat & live the best way possible.
I used to eat the average western diet. Toast in the morning, Spaghetti Bolognese for lunch, bread with sausage & cheese, eggs, meat, fish - and everything similar on a daily basis. I also ate vegetables & fruit, as I believed a lot of them, and in general what I thought to be a healthy diet lifestyle.
But holy f*, how wrong I was.
my own health journey
As a kid, I remember one specific situation at the doctors office.
I was around 10 years old. I´m still pretty impressed I remember that so well - right? It must have really made my little brain think. After a general blood test my cholesterol was high. Crazy high. The the upper limit for adults at this time was classed at 200mg/dL - so your number should be below that. By now I know, very far below that. Back then - my test showed 230mg/dL. And I wasn´t an adult. I remember looking at the doctor, saying “…but I only eat fries, and those rarely…as unhealthy food”…I was confused. I didn´t understand. Thinking I ate perfectly healthy. The doctor gave me a wink and said - all good.
critically low iron levels & fainting away
Also a few years later in my twenties I fainted at a post office. It wasn´t the first time, I had similar situations before - but this is the one I remeber the most. I had to sit down cause i blacked out - only for a few seconds though, but enough for every person in the post office to worry about me. Some even wanted to call the ambulance - I stopped them. But saw a doctor straight afterwards and the results showed alarmingly low iron levels. The doctor himself even called me on the phone. I had to take pills to get back on track. These two situations I never forgot - because at this time, I didn´t understand why this happened to me. I thought I ate healthy. Also - looking at it from my perspective now - this never happened since I know what healthy eating really means.
stomach pain, reactions to food & having no clue
A few years later I got used to feeling heavy after eating and feeling stomach aches after certain foods. It never lasted to long, so I got used to it. And after a while I thought it´s just normal. I could feel pain in my stomach a lot of times after eating, but never knew why - I didn´t know what to connect it with. I made a fructose and lactose intolerance test at the doctors office and some allergy tests - but they all came out perfectly fine. I was missing any explanation and didn´t know what to do.
Until that one day. I have been eating some salted cookies from a big, well known brand. My stomach hurt so badly, that i was like - wait - this doesn´t make sense, it’s only salt and cookie. I went to the bin, took the packaging out and inspected it.
For the first time I consciously checked the ingredient list. It was pretty much only flour, water, some weird things - and glutamat? In a salted cookie? Wait what? Afterwards I tried to avoid this ingredient everywhere - and I got better. So I figured out, that I started reacting to the synthetic form of Monosodium glutamate (MSG) in foods. Where was this leading? I was starting to slowly think differently, to start questioning food - and to try out different things. Like probiotics from the pharmacy. (No I do not reccomend those nowadays).
I still notice pain if I eat a lot of sugar for example - weird thing to react to, right? Who knew this can happen? Back then I didn’t. Now I do - because I understand the science behind it. And I pretty much never eat sugar anyways - so that´s okay with me.
my passion started in 2015
In early 2015 I stumbled accross this new trend of more and more people starting to live vegan for one month. It´s meant to be so healthy - and almost reached the status of a new trend diet. As diets were never my thing - I thought BS. But in the back of my head I was like - wait - why would people leave dairy out of their diets? Okay meat, yes - poor animals and stuff. But dairy? I really didn´t get it.
i thought veganism was BS
Okay so as a naturally (or after my dad) curious person - I watched some documentaries. I knew before I watched them - this can change my life forever- if it makes sense to me. And it did. I was shocked. My whole beliefs got challenged within minutes. Was all I ever thought wrong? Is this documentary wrong? There was just one thing I couldn´t deny after watching those - they made so much sense! So much more compared to what the media has told me about the opposite my whole life before.
everything started to suddenly make sense
Okay - it´s mentioned everywhere that milk is healthy - but why believe something without looking at it yourself? My research got deep - and what can I say? It made me watch more. I started putting all other animal products to the test - I stopped dairy products completely and began to reduce more and more. And then there was this one documentary that changed everything. A documentary about the CO2 footprint of animal products on the environment made me question everything! And suddenly I turned vegan. Really - from one minute to the next. Vegan by heart, I couldn´t deny - and I didn´t want to. I knew this is staying with me for life.
yes, it wasn´t all easy
The first few weeks of turning vegan were super hard - I had no idea what to eat and needed to learn a lot. I had been a vegetarian as a kid - but only short term and never with much thought, so it never stuck with me. Being vegan challenged me so much at first and was far more than just stopping to eat meat for the animals (it got super easy by now, promise).
my next step was ingredient lists
I started reading all the food labels in the shop to make sure they are free of animal products. This opened more questions - about what are these weird ingredients? A simple flour tortilla has about 20 ingredients? What? Wait - what is all this stuff, shouldn´t there only be water and flour? Man i was hooked. Hooked with understanding nutrition.
the passion i feel for this topic, makes me do what i love ♡ - every day
That´s how I found my passion. By chance. After years of searching for it, it found me. It caught me, sucked me in - and made me pull trough almost five years of school. Back to school with 28 years for one year full time. After that - working fulltime and fulltime studying for another four years - to finally certifing me as a fully certified Bachelor of Science Nutrition Therapist. I promise you - this is what passion did to me - what else would have gotten me trough this long journey? Nothing - let me tell you, I gave up on so much in this time - one of the toughest times of my life. But this is another story.
i´m here for you to rely on
I´m here to help you understand why your body might react to certain foods, what to do about it, how to live healthier - or how to figure out things about your body you have no solution for - cause nobody could help you so far. I felt the same for a long time. I show you how to live healthy and follow a diet with healthy nutrition (and help you following a vegan diet - if you want to). And yes - you can get all the nutrients on a plantbased diet if you have the knowledge ;).

One funny sentence - “don´t ask me about my protein, and I won´t ask you about your cholesterol” - put´s it all into one sentence. Even though I will happily tell you about my protein and help you lower your cholesterol - if this is a goal of yours :)
